Development axes:

The development strategy of crafts in the region of Guelmim Es-Smara focuses on three priority development areas:

1. Development of the production of handicrafts with high cultural content :

• Upgrading the whole value chain of crafts, training of craftsmen,
• Development and structuring of production network.

2. Boost the sales of handicrafts with high cultural content into new markets :

• Distribution of handicrafts of the region outside the three regions of the south,
• Marketing handicrafts in the provinces of the region for tourists,
• Promotion of Handicrafts of the South.

3. Improvement of working conditions of all craftsmen.

PDRA Budget

The budget for the implementation of all projects in the PDRA is 13,325,000 dirhams. The details of this investment along axes of development are shown below :
